‘LEGACY blood’ is a research study aiming to understand what effects health, lifestyle and ageing have on acquired DNA changes in blood cells (clonal haematopoiesis) and on the immune system.
The study is led by Dr Caroline Watson and Dr Jamie Blundell and is run with the help of ACED Clinic Cambridge. The study is sponsored by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University of Cambridge.
